Louis Adriën Bähler (1867–1941) was a liberal Reformed minister. Bähler’s antimilitarist and socialist views brought him into conflict with church authorities. In 1905, he was suspended after arguing that Christianity had much to learn from Buddhism. However, he was reinstated in his office by the national synod of the Reformed Church.
